In a few words...

W. Gordon Buckner was a philanthropist that believed in Saline County. His contributions to the area are great. He donated the money that purchased one of the historic cornerstone buildings on the Marshall Square. The Saline County Historical Society would like to honor his contributions to the Society by naming the building the Gordon Buckner Building.
